WA: Body found at Perth pine plantation
Detectives searching for a missing Perth woman whose husband died in a car crash have
sealed off a pine plantation after a body was found this morning.
The body was found by a person walking in the woodland near Pinjar Road in the northern
Perth suburb of Wanneroo, just before 11am (WST).
A police spokesman says detectives involved in the hunt for LINDA JOANNE COX-KIDDIE
have gone to the site, along with a forensic pathologist.
The body's identity is yet to be confirmed.
Police stepped up the hunt for Mrs COX-KIDDIE over the weekend, after she went missing
from her Heathridge home last Wednesday.
Her 48-year-old husband died when his car hit a tree and burst into flames in Yanchep,
in the outer suburbs of Perth, on Wednesday night.
