NSW: Juvenile justice centre staff accused of supplying drugs

Staff at New South Wales juvenile justice facilities may be forced to undergo sniffer
dog searches in a bid to halt the flow of drugs into the centres.

A state parliamentary inquiry into crime prevention has been told that juvenile drug
use has risen as has violent crime rates.

Corrective Services Department director-general KEN BUTTRUM says while no one has been
caught, it's a definite possibility staff are supplying juveniles with drugs.
