SA:SA unemployment rate steady

Employment Minister TOM KENYON says South Australians are confident about finding employment
and continuing to look for work.

Jobs figures released today show the headline unemployment rate in South Australia
remained steady at 5.3 per cent in November.

Mr KENYON says it's the third lowest headline rate of all the states and the same as
the national rate which went up by 0.1 percentage points to 5.3 per cent.

He says the November figures also show there are six and a half thousand more South
Australians in jobs than at the same time last year.
