e-DOCS.net (OTCBB:EDOC), the medical e-solutions company, announced today that the company's board of directors has voted to rename the company EDOCS.MD. The resolution for a new name will be voted on at the company's annual meeting scheduled for Dec. 11, 2000.
Vice-Chairman and CEO Jim Springfield stated, "We believe the name EDOCS.MD clearly represents our business and client base. The EDOCS Physician Network is totally focused on providing medical e-services and financial solutions for physicians and the new name accurately reflects this commitment. Since the release of version one of the EPN is about to occur, the timing is appropriate to announce this new name to the investment community."
e-DOCS Physician Network Inc. (EPN) is releasing a subscription-based professional portal which provides a secure, HIPAA compliant browser-based document handling system that functions as a simple medical record.
