Qld: Man killed in Mt Isa smash
BRISBANE, April 28 AAP - A man has died after the vehicle he was driving in slammed
into a wall in north-west Queensland.
Police say the 53-year-old was travelling along the Barkly Highway, about 5 km east
of Mount Isa, when he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a wall about 4.40pm
(AEST) yesterday.
He died at the scene while a 28-year-old male passenger was also injured.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
